At various points in my life I have been a bass player, music producer, recording studio operator, band member, video engineer, husband, restaurateur, political activist, very amateur carpenter, and environmental advocate. Actually, I still do all those things, but I would like to drop about half of them. Please suggest the appropriate ones, as I am having trouble coming up with the right mix. I will leave coffee drinker on permanent freeze; it's not negotiable.

It's a funny thing for me to put words on the home page of the web site that bears my name. I am not one to make a point of talking about myself, but there are so many things in the world that interest me. I hope that some of the things I care deeply about will fascinate or entertain you as well. Have fun!
